For me techica only con so far is that it only has eight channelsso if you are running 8 units and you run into trouble on any frequency, your stuck. The combination of UHF, diversity operation results in fewer drop outs and noise.

The problem is that although the receiver is indeed wireless and not attached to the transmitter by wire, transmitter still needs to be plugged into a wall instead of battery-powered!
