Cpu usage is at 100 windows 7

My Win is a manufacturer pre-install on a Samsung RV and has never been reinstalled or fiddled with in any way since I got it 4 years ago. I took all updates except IE 9 and 11 and Renote Desktop. It spontaneously hung in updates about 4 months back. No Account? Sign up. By signing in, you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Already have an account?

Paul Pedant Posted May 2, 0 Comments. There is a bunch of stuff out there, of which this looks the most definitive and clearest.

Then, you have to fix the root problem, before you ever enable another update. What percentage does it run at without System Idle Process? Thank you for your reply — and yes, I know the bit only recognizes 3.

Thanks for your reply — I agree and still think that AVG is the problem. I will try to reinstall and see if this helps. That has to be a matter of personal preference but I would at least remove it and re-install if nothing else.

MSE does not have much favour with the press but I suspect that is in part sour grapes and not based on concrete issues. Personally I have no problem with it, it is lighter and just does what it is supposed to do compared to others which tend to be a bit bloated.

As you only need one stick take the other out and try it for a while like that, the interleave provided by two has marginal speed benefits anyway. Check the Programs and Features for any stragglers, likewise the Startup option in Msconfig.

When you remove an AV most have a cleanup tool available from their website such as AVG or McAfee so even if you have uninstalled a program apparently normally running these tools can find bits left behind. All you need to do is set the option in the Windows Update to "Download Updates but let me choose whether to Install them.

Open task Manager and click on the CPU tab and then open the "Resource Monitor" and look for the wuauserv in the lower view pane column is running for the Windows Update. You will still get the updates as long as you resume the process you suspended "wuausrv.

Then you go select the "Download Updates but let me choose whether to install them. You can pin the Resource Monitor to your task bar so you can get to it without having to open the Task manager. Think the only way will be reinstall Windows :s thank you all!! Sorry, but that's confusing me. On process nothing seems to be taking to many ressources Diogo Oliveira wrote: yes..

Get a screenshot from one of the machines with the issue. BTW, I've seen failing hard drives act like this, but in your case since you have more than one machine exhibiting the symptoms, I'd lean towards malware of some sort or possibly a misbehaving application.

I've used process explorer The thing is, if it's malware, I'm not sure what tool to use to find it Thank you all I just didn't understand what you meant when you said that "when checking on task manager or even with process explorer, i don't see nothing consuming the CPU". Thank you all for your help. I've deleted the profile and recreated it. Still missing something to understand what caused that cpu usage Alasannya seperti yang saya bilang sebelumnya, terlalu banyak aplikasi berjalan bisa membuat pemakaian CPU jadi tinggi.

Belum berhasil? Saya sarankan coba install ulang.

Dijamin masalah CPU usage akan hilang.
